About Michelle Hay
Michelle Hay is a Notary Public and member of the Society of Notaries Public of British Columbia. Michelle completed her studies at Simon Fraser University and graduated with a Masters in Applied Legal Studies Program in June 2017 with an above average GPA of 3.6. She wrote and passed her Statutory Notary Public Exams in March 2017, was sworn in before the Supreme Court, Honourable Chief Justice Christopher E. Hinkson, on June 7th 2017, and received the 18th Annual Stanley J. Nicol Award in recognition of achieving the highest combined marks on the Notarial Procedures Examination. Michelle is dedicated to ensuring the highest quality standards in her practice and acquired a total of seven weeks of mentorship, beyond the minimum required three weeks, to perfect her skills in the applicable areas of law.
Michelle moved to Terrace in 2006 to take a position as the Lab Manager with Northern Health at the Mills Memorial Hospital where she ensured life saving, diagnostic testing was performed with precision and accuracy for nine years before challenging herself with a new career in law. She is the proud mother, and sole parent to two amazing children who are being raised to be positive, contributing members of the community.
Michelle is friendly, outgoing, detailed orientated, and a dedicated BC notary public with excellent communication skills who enjoys assisting clients achieve their legal goals.
